Boxycharm Cloudy with a Chance of Charms | Review

I just recently signed up  for a monthly subscription box. I know, I am not sure myself as to why it took me so long! Every month I tend to have this need to go out and buy new products to try, and as one may guess, that can get pretty pricey. Plus you always see other things while you’re at the store that you want to try out as well, and it all adds up really quickly. After some extensive research I decided to go with Boxycharm. Now this may not be the best option for everything (there are a million of other boxes geared towards different things), but I love high end and full sized products which is exactly what this box satisfies.

This monthly subscription box is $21 a month. If you pay for 3, 6 months or a year at a time, the price is cheaper. If you have subscribed to the monthly box you can cancel at any time, and sign up again later. I ended up subscribing on a monthly basis so that I feet at ease about about canceling the account. In each box you get 4 to 5 full sized products which can be skin, hair or makeup related.

Well its has been two weeks and I have finally received my box. Let me tell you, this may be the best decision that I have ever made! I am so in love with every single product in the box! This month all of the five products were full sized and the overall value of the box cane to be about $109. Can you say bargain?? Below is a review of each product in the box. If you click on the picture, it will take you to a site where you can purchase the product.

Purllise Lip Comfort ($16)

DSC_0075This is hands down the most hydrating lip product that I own. I have been a die hard EOS fan but I may just have found a new favorite lip balm. It glides on so smoothly and smells like mangoes. It is enriched with Vitamin E, Shea Butters, Jojoba and Rice Bran Oils which hydrate and lock in the moisture.

Blinc Comestics Lash Primer ($16)

DSC_0076A black lash primer?? Yes please! Prior to this I used the Dior lash primer which is white and makes my eyelashes really hard and long, but ads no volume. This lash primer adds volume and length. Together with the Better Than Sex mascara it’s pure magic! My lashes are so long and look so perfect.

Anderson Lilley Beach Butter Hand Cream – Manhattan Beach ($24)

DSC_0074This smells so heavenly!! It’s a very fresh and beachy smell. It has a very buttery feel to it so it moisturizes my hands completely without feeling oily. That makes me happy!! I hate that greasy hand feeling.

Your Minerals Eye Glimmer – Brown Hypnotic ($21)

DSC_0078This is my first time using a loose eye shadow but wow I love it! This shadow is so pigmented and has just the right amount of sparkle to it. It is a beautiful brown/purple shade and actually is extremely build-able. I can’t wait to incorporate it into a makeup look.

Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick – Honolulu ($19.90)

DSC_0077This is by far my favorite item in the box. Oh my goodness, this color is absolutely superb! It is the perfect red/brown color with a hint of sparkles which you can barely see. I put it to the test by eating all day long while wearing it and it does stay on really nicely. The huge plus for this liquid lips is that it does not dry my lips out like most other lippies. Ofra is winning! I will forsure be checking out the other colors.

Here are the swatches:

In conclusion, I can’t wait for next months box!! This is a great investment and is actually really exciting! Every month is like Christmas!

      1. I am actually visiting there this summer! Pretty excited but I do understand that! I’ve stayed in Ireland a couple times for a week at a time and I couldn’t get out fast enough! I live in Florida so is the opposite of depressing.

      2. Arthur’s seat is always nice if you’re up for a hike for a great view. Afterwards you can stop by the Sheeps Heid pub – oldest in Scoltand 🙂 I wasn’t born here, moved to Dundee 5 years ago and we just moved to Edinburgh last summer so can’t really recommend loads of places but I am sure you’ll find some awesome guides online 🙂 x
