KORRES Violet Orris Shower Gel Review | Rutele

Hi babes,

Today I will be breaking down the KORRES Shower Gel. It it worth your moola??

So this Shower Gel runs for $19.50 and you can get it at Sephora, Dermstore and the Korres official website.

It is formulated to moisturize and cleanse the skin in a gentle way so it’s really ideal for aging skin. This shower gel has orris root oil blends, Vitamin E, Antioxidants, Vitamin C and Aloe Vera. It is generally a woody violet scent with a hint of white pepper. This product contains no parabens or phthalates (yay to less chemicals).

How To Use:

You are to shake this well before use. Take a dollop amount and mix it with a little bit of water. This will give you a nice lather consistency. Once applied all over the skin, massage it in and rinse it with water.

My Thoughts:

First of all, this lathered fairly well, for a gel that is. Not too thick and not too foamy which is perfect. It did a good job getting the dirt off and since it does have oils in the formula, it did not dry my skin out. It made it smooth and luscious.  The price was something that I am okay with, since I’m bougie, but if you are on a budget, I wouldn’t say this is for you because come on $19 for a body wash is kind of pricey. The onlyyyy  negative I have with this is the smell. Man oh man. I guess I really am not into woody and flowery scents because I can’t take the smell of this. It’s pretty fragrant while in the shower, but it also stays on your skin for pretty much the whole day (legit couldn’t get away from it).

This actually smells very close to the Amber smell from Bath and Body works…which is also not my favorite.

All in all, this is great for your skin but I just cannot deal with the smell. Guess I will continue looking for the perfect healthy body gel that I will fall madly in love with.

Have you tried this? Or anything from the brand?

XOXO, Rutele.
