LOREAL Ever Fresh Sulfate Free Shampoo, Scrub & Conditioner DISASTER | Review

Hi my darlings!

I do want to begin this by saying that I was sent these products by Influenster for review purposes. So many thanks go out to this wonderful company! ❤

This is a line specifically created to help with dandruff and it claims:

100% Free of Sulfates/Free of Harsh Salts/ Gentle to Scalp. Ever Fresh Antidandruff shampoo formulated with 1% pyrithione zinc restores scalp balance and helps stop scalp itching, irritation and flaking associated with dandruff. Our formula is especially gentle and is free of harsh sulfates, salts and surfactants that can strip or damage your hair and dull its color. Experience a purely sensorial lush, luxurious lather and a fresh aromatic fragrance that blooms. Ever, our original 100% sulfate-free haircare. The purest respect for hair & scalp. No Visible Flakes with Regular use.

I am going to begin with my over all experience with the whole range. I HATE IT. I Hate it. i hate it. Literally I am not sure if I have anything positive to say besides the fact that it’s cheap.

You are to start with the scrub. Now this is such a weird product. I put the recommended amount into my hair and it was impossible to wash out. It has these tiny micro beads that did not come out even after I washed my hair with the shampoo. It also smelled way too overpoweringly of “Lilac” but I really cannot agree on that. Maybe it’s different because it’s African Lilac…I am not sure but what I am certain about is how unpleasant it it.

The shampoo lathers fairly well, I did not need much for my shoulder length hair which is wonderful but again the smell was way too much to handle. It also made my hair so dry…and when I say dry I mean I was literally afraid my hair was going to break off. I don’t think anyone wants to experience that mid shower.

The conditioner is not any better. It smells the same and even after slathering this on my hair after the drying affect of the shampoo and leaving it in for about 10 minutes my hair did not feel any better.

I am absolutely not sure why this has fairly good reviews all over the internet…

I found the formula for all three products (shampoo, scrub and conditioner) to be very drying and too fragrant.

I mean I do not suffer from much dandruff or dry scalp and this may be fantastic for that but I do believe there are many better and cost equivalent products that do not dry your hair out the way these do. Oh and ones that have a pleasant smell.

What are your thoughts? Would you rather spend more money or do more research than buy something cheap that smells awful and dries your hair out?

Till next time loves!

XOXO, Rutele.

Lancôme Teint Idole Foundation & Concealer | Review

Hi beauties,

I must say that this is my first time trying out Lancôme products. I know, I have obviously been living under a damn rock. LOL

I have a video of me physically trying out the products as well, so if you’d like to watch it being applied and worn instead of just reading about it, click the video below! If you’d like to read about my experience and review, scroll on down. :*

Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Longwear Foundation Stick SPF 21

This foundation is actually really creamy, really bendable and really smooth. It makes my skin look perfect without caking on or masking my true skin. I also really love the fact that it has sunscreen in it since I live in Florida and it is always the last thing on my mind (even though it should be the first lol).

There are 30 shades total which is amazing and it cost $42 dollars. It is quite pricey, but for a product that works and is good for your skin? I say go for it.

Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer

This baby is soooo long wearing. Now when I say “long wearing” I mean it lasted the whole day without budging even when I had to scrub my eye after getting some nasty water in it (I was trying to wash out any accidental pink eye lol). I cannot say that it is very full coverage but it did blend out beautifully and did not crease. It absolutely is perfect for a very natural look but for the price I would say you can find better options.

There are 16 shades of this and they also have color correcting ones. The price of this is $31.

Lancôme Click & Glow Highlighting Skin Fluid

img_9384.jpg

This is for sure my favorite item in the box. I have never used a liquid highlight before but it is beyond gorgeous and very natural. Cream highlights look very natural as well but this….my oh my…is even better. Most days I really only want a very subtle glow instead of a “blinding the martians” kind of glow so it is the perfect item for that. It has an awesome lasting power and makes me look very healthy and dewy. I would absolutely repurchase!

This come in four different shades: a pearlescent pink, a warm rose gold, a warm gold and a rich amber bronze. This retails for $23 dollars.

Lancôme Le Metallique Metallic Lip Lacquer

Look at how cute the packaging is! I am really not a huge lip gloss girl but this is a really interesting product. I have been obsessed with my Ofra Versailles liquid lipstick for forever and I always wanted to add it on top of other lipstick but it’s too opaque for that. This I think solves my problem. The Versailles lipstick and this (Mirrored Nude) are the exact color, just different formula/pigmentation. This would sit nicely on top of another color and retain the same pigment, just make it a rose gold metallic finish which is perfect. This is not overly sticky or goopy. I would say that if you do not own something like this, you should invest because it can absolutely transform any lipstick that you own into a trendy metallic finish.

This comes in 13 different shades and retails for $22.

You can purchase it by clicking on this link.

**These were sent to me for review purposes by Influenster! My opinions remain 100% honest because otherwise that would be stupid lol**

Have you tried any of these?? If so, what were your thoughts?

Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayon | Review

Recently, I was very fortunate to receive three shades of the Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons. They were sent to me by Influenster for review purposes!

Yes, these were free, but in no way, shape or form does that mean I will bend my opinions. I am an extremely honest person and if I don’t like something, you best believe that you will know about that.

I received three shades: Cava, Red Velvet and Glace.

I used to be in love with Mac lipsticks back in the day, but for a while I have been obsessed with liquid lipsticks and that is what I usually reach for, but sometimes it’s nice to get back to basics.

These creme lip crayons very creamy and moisturizing. They just glide on and moisturize all day long. Now, the formula will not last you all day, you will have to reapply, but your lips will be smoother than a baby’s bum. I actually really love the formula because of how gentle it is on my lips and of how matte it is. I am a matte girl for life!

The lip crayons are made with orange peel wax and antioxidant properties of resveratrol. This is why they are water-resistant and long wearing.

I did enjoy the lighter shades more than the dark for a couple of reasons. The lip crayons come in  pen shaped applicator. It has a pointed tip which makes it easier to apply without having to use a brush. Now this works better with the lighter shades because you don’t have to be as precise. With the darker shades, I did have to go back in with a makeup wipe and clean up the edges. The darker shade also did not match with my skin tone. I tend to go for deeper reds, vs more true reds (which this was a more of a true red).

The lip crayons lasted about 4  to 5 hours, with minimal eating and drinking. Since these are a creamy formula, they don’t flake off or bleed. When you eat or drink they just swipe away.

Here are some swatches of the three shades.

Cava:

Red Velvet:

Glace:

Overall, for a lipstick, I would give these an 8 out of a 10.

I did really like them and will for sure continue using them!

Have you ever used Bite Beauty lipsticks? What do you think??
